About Us

More Than an Agency, We’re a Community of Care

“For the Love of Caring” is more than our slogan—it is the guiding principle behind everything we do. Apex Foster Care Services was founded on the simple, powerful belief that every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported by a caring family, and that every family who opens their home deserves a dedicated partner on their journey.

We are a team of passionate child welfare professionals committed to creating and supporting healing environments for children and youth in Southeast Pennsylvania. We understand that the path of foster care and adoption is unique for everyone, and we are here to provide expert guidance, compassionate support, and unwavering advocacy needed for families to thrive.

OUR MISSION

Apex Foster Care Services, LLC exists to connect children with safe, loving families and to support those families every step of the way. We believe that every child deserves a home where they feel valued and secure. Our mission is rooted in Pennsylvania’s Title 55 regulations, which establish the standards for protecting children’s health and rights. We are committed to going beyond compliance by offering trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

OUR VISION & VALUES

Our vision is a community where every child experiences a deep sense of belonging. This vision is built on a foundation of core values that guide every decision we make:

  • Dignity: We treat every child, family, and partner with the utmost respect, honoring their individual stories and cultural backgrounds.
  • Integrity: We operate with transparency and the highest ethical standards, ensuring our families and partners can place their complete trust in us.
  • Partnership: We build collaborative relationships with our families, county agencies, and community providers to create a robust network of support around every child.
  • Continuous Learning: We are committed to constantly improving our practice through professional development and listening to the voices of those we serve.

Every child deserves a loving home, and every qualified person deserves the chance to provide one. Apex Foster Care Services welcomes all prospective foster and adoptive parents and serves every child with dignity and respect. We do not discriminate based on age, sex, religion, race, color, ancestry, national origin, or disability. This commitment is mandated by state law and guided by our core values.

Our Healing-Centered Approach

A Foundation of Trust and Understanding

Children enter foster care with their own unique life experiences. Our commitment to a trauma-informed, healing-centered model means we recognize and respond to the impact of these experiences.

This isn’t just a theory for us; it’s how we practice. Our approach involves:

  • Creating Predictability and Routine: We help our foster families establish safe, predictable home environments where children can relax, trust, and heal.
  • Individualized Support Plans: We work with each child and family to develop a personalized plan that addresses their specific needs, builds on their strengths, and sets achievable goals.
  • Empowering Our Foster Parents: Through specialized training and 24/7 on-call support, we ensure our caregivers have the confidence and skills to provide responsive, understanding care.
